He who opens a school door, closes a prison. – (Victor Hugo)
Every great happening has a humble beginning as St. Francis Convent School had. It was a dream of his Excellency Rt. Rev. Bishop Symphorian Keeprath and the Diocese of Jalandhar to enlighten Ghanie Ke Bangar with light of education. He knew very well that a convent school will polish the youth of the area into great developers of the society and country at large. To materialize this dream, he found a place at Batala road on 27 th March, 1992. It was an isolated place but the beginners foresaw it as a temple of learning which would evolve the society into an educated civilization of Bishop of Diocese of Jalandhar on 18 th June 1992. Regular classes commenced on 21th July, 1993. The medium of instruction was English.

It has produced many teachers, engineers, doctors, army officers and so on so forth. It has served the society by helping the children to channelize their caliber for the development of our Mother India.
